Megan Vedder

Teddy Bear AM / Lunch; BA Liberal Studies, Education

Megan has been a dedicated teacher since 2011, with experience in elementary education, teaching English as a second language, and facilitating anti-racist, anti-bias education and advocacy for both children and adults. She joined WUNS in 2023 as a Teaching Assistant in the Teddy Bear room, working alongside Chona and Katie. What excites Megan most about early childhood education is watching students use their knowledge to solve problems and expand their understanding of the world around them. She loves incorporating pretend play, story time, and music time into her teaching. Megan believes in supporting students with a variety of learning tools and values meeting each child where they are in their learning journey and for who they are as unique individuals.

Megan and her husband have two elementary-age children, and as a family, they enjoy playing games, bowling, going on walks, having dance parties, and watching movies together. Outside of work, Megan enjoys volunteering for her children’s school, reading, listening to podcasts, and baking.
