Christina Ryan

Christina is delighted to be leading music classes again at WUNS! She brings experiences as a musician, educator, and parent. She taught kindergarten for 12 years, is a certified Music Together teacher, has taught flute lessons, and has played in and directed a variety of ensembles. She continues to play flute professionally, but she has always enjoyed the special energy that lights up when she shares music and movement with young children, who have an innate desire to make joyful noise and wiggle their bodies. She is very excited to share that joy with all the bears at WUNS.

She has been married to her high school sweetheart, Stephen, for 23 years, and has two children: Brendon and Isabelle, both alumni of WUNS. When she’s not keep up with her littles, she volunteering with her church and neighborhood association. She also loves to read, travel, practice yoga, watercolor paint, and cook.
