Carol has been an educator for 19 years, 12 of them as a middle school science teacher. She is so excited to return to where her teaching career began, in early childhood education. Carol has a BS in Human Nutrition from the University of Missouri, a MA in management from Webster University and is certified to teach general and family and consumer sciences.
She will be assisting Marsha Graeber and Allie Price with the Bear Cubs, overseeing lunch and rest, and subbing for other teachers when needed. WUNS’s belief that children learn through play is something that Carol has followed throughout her teaching career. She strives to provide a safe and secure environment where children feel empowered to experience and experiment.
Carol and her husband, Kevin, have 4 grown children and two adorable grandchildren. When she’s not enjoying time with her family, she loves to travel, garden, and take long walks with her dog, Pula.
