Allie begins her third year of teaching at Washington University Nursery School this year, co-teaching the Bear Cubs with Marcia Graeber in the morning and supporting the Teddy Bear class in the afternoon. She has a Bachelor of Science degree in Special Education and a Masters degree in Education.
After graduating with her degree in special education, she taught middle school-aged children with differing needs and abilities. After a short break caring for her own two children, she started teaching the three- and four-year-old class at a local preschool. She fell in love with early childhood and knew this was the age she would like to work with. She taught kindergarten in the School District of Clayton during the pandemic. Allie looks forward to all the fun learning that will happen in school year 2023 – 2024 at WUNS.
